Rockwell Falls, on the Two Medicine Pass/Cobalt Lake trail, was just about the most perfect swimming hole I've ever seen. Sadly we didn't bring swimming accoutrements on the hike, and anything day-hikeable in a National Park is generally going to be too well-trafficked to go without. Another reason National Forests are more fun!

I tend to be posting "in arrears" since it takes time to edit photos and whatnot, but sadly it's our last night at our little guard station along Rock Creek before we begin the trip home 😭 Integrating back into normality is going to be extremely weird and probably depressing... but we do look forward to seeing the cats again.

Hiking back to Cobalt Lake was the first time we got away from folks in Glacier – Two Medicine was a nice relief. Months at our guard station on Forest Service land has us spoiled where crowds are concerned.
